Ingredients
Serves 4-6
1 Bunch Brocolli Rabe, stems trimmed
8 Shitake mushrooms, sliced
2 Tbs Shallots, sliced (optional)
2 Tbs Garlic
1/4 Cup Chicken or Vegetable Broth
1/8 Cup Mirin or Sweet Cooking Wine
1/4 Cup Oyster Sauce
2 Tbs Sesame or Canola oil
Cooking Instructions
In a sauté pan over medium heat, add Oil, Garlic, Shitake Mushrooms and Shallots if using. Sautee briefly until the Garlic is fragrant, being careful not to brown. Add the brocolli rabe and sauté for 1 minute before adding the stock. Continue to add the Mirin and Oyster Sauce and sautee until the greens are tender. Transfer to a plate and serve.
